    ROAD SPEED LIMITER NEWS

    Recent legislation has seen the introduction of Road Speed Limiter use on light commercial vehicle applications.

    Road Speed Limiters may be a programmable function of the engine management computer system on certain vehicles.

    Fleet vans and buses  without road speed limiter devices fitted as original can be retrofitted

    Road Speed Limiter Legislation currently applies to commercial vehicles over 3.5 tonnes Gross Design Weight  and buses with more than 8 passenger seats first registered on or after January 1st ,2005. The new road speed limiter legislation does not come into force until 1st January ,2008.
